    Sorry for not updating the original text, this issue is also present in SSMS 19, in fact everything newer than SSMS 17 has this problem

I suspect SQL Prompt as well

jbrannick that was my question - and it would be great to confirm.  I need someone who has reported the problem to test without any extensions installed (SQL Prompt) or anything else.
