Proper way to patch windows on a 2 node cluster SQL server

We're planning to perform a windows patching on our cluster SQL database server. This would only be an OS patching not SQL DB patching. 

Can I know what is the proper way to perform this activity for a 2 node cluster SQL server? Currently SQL instance is running on node 2.
