Migrating Integration project from On premise to Azure Cloud

We have plan of migrating database project from on premise to Azure. I have 2 queries which haven't get any answers till now.

1.I came to know we can lift and shift SSIS packages to Azure without any changes. But is it best practice to migrate SSIS packages to Azure and can we troubleshoot issue if any issue in SSIS package. In on-premises, we can check through Catalog standard reports. Do we have same feasibility in Azure. what is performance & cost of running SSIS packages in ADF. 

2. Currently, in on premise we are using MDM for single source of truth, I didn't find MDM availability in Azure. Do we have MDM in Azure from Microsoft? How to migrate MDM from on-premises to Azure.
