Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 - Processor Affinity
Greetings!
I am currently testing a banking system.
Unfortunately, I looked unto the Live Optics result of the VM (as shown in the picture) and found out that the instance is only using 1 core out of the 8 cores.
SQL Server Setting is set to Automatically Set Processor Affinity Mask for All Processors.
I am encountering performance issues like taking processes too long.
Do you guys have any recommendations?
Like, should I set it manually and check all the CPUs?
Note: I am only running 1 instance in this VM.

SQL SERVER 2016 SP2 CU8 + WIN SERVER 2012 R2 8 cores
solve by manually check affinity on all cores
