Handling GDPR while designing the data store

Hi Champs,

In current design, we are using Azure VM's with SQL server and region is West US. But now I need to store the client data from Europe.

Application is pointing to the database.

I am facing challenge to redesign the data store in SQL server with different instances and how to segregate client data based on country or region.  

Please guide me how to handle this challenge in SQL server.
