Failure to run SSMS
Hi, ALL, For sometime I had both MSVC 2010 and 2017 installed on my laptop. Recently I needed space and decided to remove the old version. Unfortunately I thin I killed one of the SSMS libra...
1. Repair SSMS
If you are using standalone SSMS:
- Open Apps and Features
- Find SQL server management studio
- Click Modify then Repair
- Or Download Latest SSMS Installer
2. Reinstall Visual C++ Redistributables
Removing Visual studio 2010 often removes shared VC runtime DLLs
Install these:
- Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable
- Latest Visual C++ Redistributable
