Hi Abdelrazek-rizk, I tested it in several different configuration and found no issue. Are you using the SSMS wizard or visual studio? Can you elaborate more and add a screenshot or two on how we can reproduce the issue. Hi Ronen_Ariely
This is the below-mentioned error we are getting when connecting to the import and export wizard.

I installed SQL Express 2022 and also got this error because the Import and Export 2022 does not work for SQL Express 2022. So either of these 2 things worked for me:
- SQL Import and Export 2019 (I was able to use this tool with SQL Express 2022)
- Uninstalled SQL Express 2022 and reinstalled SQL Developer 2022 (then the Import and Export 2022 tool works)
Hope you come right.
- hamzathejaved96Feb 18, 2023Copper ContributorI tried reinstalling the Developer Version but now SQL Express 2022 is giving the error of not recognising the instance. Any idea why that might be happening? Is it maybe because my SQL Express 2022 wasn't uninstalled properly and its confusing it with old file path? Tried renaming file paths but the problem still persists ๐

hamzathejaved96 Iโm having the same problem here. I also uninstalled and reinstalled it. How did you solve it? Any help would be appreciated. Iโm in a rabbit hole that I canโt get out of. ๐
