Database Permission CONNECT listed twice in SSMS

For a test I created a user [u1] and granted him the CONNECT database permission:

GRANT CONNECT TO [u1]

Then, verifying my command, I noticed that the CONNECT permission is listed twice in SSMS 18.9.2:

I'm using the German edition of SSMS, so "Connect" translates to "SQL verbinden" in my screenshot.

Is this double listing a bug that also occurs in the English version? Or is this just a translation issue?

  • BetterToday , that's "simply" a bug in SSMS, exists in older version and also in English version.

Tick on both checkbox and let SSMS generate the script for it, you will see, it's the same GRANT CONNECT sql command.
