Database Needed across versions
I have a database that I need to be able to use on versions 2016 - 2022. My machine currently has SQL 2019. I have kept the database at the SQL 2014 (120) compatibility level since I don't need ...
You can only restore a database running the same version or higher than the one you took the back-up from.
This means you cannot take a back-up from SQL Server 2019 and restore it to SQL Server 2016.
