Database Diagram Folder Missing in Object Explorer

Hi All,

I have just updated my computer and re-installed SQL Server Management Studio (v15.0.2000.5). My database has come across happily, but I no longer have access to my database diagrams. The Database Diagrams folder is NOT in my Object Explorer. How do I get it back?

Regards

To which for a SQL database engine do you connect to? E.g. Azure SQL don't support database diagrams.

How do I tell which SQL Database I am connected to?

On my old computer, I had the diagrams and the tech guy who built and copied everything across from my old computer should have replicated that system, so it should be the same.

When I had my software company, I had guys to do all of this. Now that I have sold the company and am retired, it's like I am a learner again.

Are different SQL databases faster than others?

      Alan 🙂

I should also point out that my DB is on the local computer.
