SOSHost_TRACELOCK Wait Type

Hi Everybody

I am working on a SQL Server 2019 Enterprise Edition. The response from the server is inconsistent, and when there is slow performance, I notice several queries waiting with the wait type of SOSHOST_TRACELOCK.

All traces, including the default trace, have been turned off, and the lock status continues. The CPU on the server is within acceptable levels of 40 to 60%, and nothing else is of concern.

Has anyone else seen this before or have any points of where to look? The details on this in Books online are minimal.
