Skype for Business Server 2019 CU1... When?

Hey There

Skype for Business Server 2019 is GA since 10-22-2018.

Are there any News about CU1 with some of the feature from the Ignite 2018:

  • SEFAUtil – PowerShell based
  • HTML5 based Modern Control Pane
  • Meetings in Cloud
  • HA/DR: RGS included in backup
  • Cloud Call Queues

Or did I miss something…

Thanks, Adrian

Does this CU fix the "Search for public Skype contacts" issue?
  • Adrian_Fleisch_LID SFBS 2019 CU1 was released. Skype for Business Server 2019 Cumulative Update KB4470124.

Does this update fix external connectivity issues? Can you now search for external users?
      • James1 I have not read anything regarding this topic in the knowledge base article. Also, I didn't come across this issue on SFBS 2019.

Some quick steps/questions regarding your issue:

        • Is you federation working in general?
        • If you enter a complete SIP-URI from an external contact, can you add it to your contacts or chat with him/her?
        • Are all external access policies alright and allowing the external/federated communication?
        • Did you ensure that your firewalls, proxy, certs, (internal/external) dns ... are ok? (exceptions/rules)
        • Maybe you could open another thread (if not already done) to dive in deeper or raise a ticket at Microsoft Support (if not already done)?
