Issues with setting up always on in 2019
So I have been working on setting up a 2019 with 2017 SQL enterprise always on. the documentation at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/skypeforbusiness/deploy/deploy-high-availability-and-disaster-recovery/alwayson-availability-group#BKMK_NewPool_CreateAlwaysOnGroup there are a few issues, My Response at (https://github.com/MicrosoftDocs/OfficeDocs-SkypeForBusiness/issues/767) summerizes the issues. Basically it says configure the always on AG through the wizard before the databases are created (this cannot be done, SQL won't let you do it) Basically the wizard wont let you do a AG without selecting a DB and it also says to use the AG for the SQL. I also noticed that if you do a new topology during the SQL setup you get screen1 (before.png) Then if for any reason you cancel and restart, when you get the properties for the SQL Server you get a different screen So how do you setup FCI in 2019 using SQL 2017 enterprise?
