Skype for Business on KVM Hypervisor

We are looking at ordering some new hardware and I was curious if anyone out there has ran Skype for Business on KVM or OpenStack or AHV?  We've been running on VMware for 3 years now with no issues but the potential to save on VMware licensing has us thinking about using an alternative hypervisor.

    Yeah it says supported under the options we are considering but support and works well in practice are sometimes two very different things.

    You should definitely refer to the SVVP for this. It's Microsoft's support statement on hypervisors and virtualization in general.
