From Skype for Business Online to Hybrid deployment
Hi Experts,
One of our customer currently on Skype for Business Online and want to build Hybrid.
What are the best practices?
Can we get quick overview steps?
At which point do we need to point DNS entries to Edge after Hybrid deployment?
Is there any good article that talks about the detailed steps?
Many thanks.

Hi,
When you are done with the configuration. I can recomend this validation script:
https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/nexthop/2016/09/27/validate-your-lync-server-2013-or-skype-for-business-2015-hybrid-configuration/
- Also this TechNet article: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn689117.aspx describes it pretty well.

1. Setup an SFB infra including Edge and Reverse Proxy on-Premise.
2. Setup Hybrid
3. Migrate (bring back) ALL current SFB Online users to On-premise first.
5. Test and verify by manually pointing SFB client to On-Premise SFB in "Advanced Connection Settings" that On-Premise it's working.
4. Make DNS record changes only after you migrated (brought back ) ALL current SFB Online users to On-premise.
5. Then you may move back users to SFB Online.
