Skype for Business on Windows 11 no new Message taskbar notification

Resolution was to switch back to windows 10 (unfortunately).
I havent found a solution for my skype for business version and the windows 11 version I was using there.
I think this is the subtil way of microsoft to tell you to use teams. Or maybe the API has changed and we need a proper update for the skype client.
However I was not able to fix it and so switched back to my old setup (after I missed some messages from my boss).
