Disable sound alerts to conversation/messaging during a meeting.

I attend a weekly meeting with 160 Plus attendees who love to chat during the meeting.  In the first 30 minute meeting I attended, there were hundreds of chat messages, maybe 1k

Almost went crazy with sound alerts everytime a message came in.

How can I disable that sound?

Looked around settings and tried several things that did not work.
