Skype for Bunsiness Mac Client Crashing on Launch

Im having the exact same issue. Downloaded the last update for the GA release and error still persists.

    Hi, 

     

    My Skype for business on mac kept crashing on startup too.

    This may work for some may not, but I discovered that it is sensitive to the way folders are named in outlook.

    Remove any forward and backslashes (/ \) in the names, also ? Etc. Remove all characters named in this article

    After going through and changing these type of characters to - or _ Skype for business on mac worked.

    Skype seems more sensitive on MacOS than windows.
