- Nov 13, 2016Hi David, I've been in contact with the SfB Beta Technical Support team regarding this since mid October. They are currently actively working to resolve this issue. My most recent communication was on the 5th of November. My install is Outlook 15.29 (161108) and SfB 16.1.388 (which was only installed today), so still waiting on a fix.

Has there been any udpate or fix on this? I have SfB v.16.2.156 and Outlook 15.30 and my status does no update when I am in a meeting, I have to remember to change it. It does show my meetings listed so I am not understanding why it cannot just change my status.

Microsoft
SFB Mac does not yet support auto updating the SFB status based on the user's Outlook calendar, e.g. in meeting. It is in our backlog. We are aware that this is a frequent request. I can't comment on when this feature will be added.

I had to resort to running a Windows VM in Fusion running Skype for Business and Outlook just to keep my Mac version updated with my correct status. Overkill, i agree, but it is the only way my status can be changed to "In a Meeting" rather than manually setting to "Busy"
Thought this would've been one of the first items on deploying SfB on the Mac.
Perhaps should have stuck with Lync for a little while longer.
(running SfB 16.3.241 & Outlook 15.31)
