custom Branding in SharePoint modern view
I just created a Site Collection for a client with multiple pages and 4 subsites. I thought I was doing a good thing by using "modern" Site Pages, but now he's asking me why he can't do things that he's used to doing... like editing the html in a CEWP, removing the Quick Launch using a Script Editor and placing an image on a page without using a web part. I can find no way to change text size/color, which is one of the things he wants to be able to do. Am I missing something? It seems like these would all be fairly common wants/needs!
- Without custom development you cannot do alot of the things you could do previously on the old Classic UI. You can always create classic pages and set your lists to classic mode if that's a requirement but currently when it comes to Modern UI your customization options from a power user perspective are fairly limited.
Event Development customization are somewhat limited but have recently become a lot better.- Totally agree here...modern pages, SPFx and all the modern stuff is relatively new and while we don't have the same features we have with classic SPO sites, be sure Microsoft will provide ways and tools to achieve the same...
