Jayan and Tink -- what's your current process? Pretty curious about that. I've seen a number of different frameworks. Is there something that stands out to you?

Jeff_Kotz We're currently using "Impact Goals" that are written at the individual, team and department levels which are then added to the HRIS we use and are parked there until they are reviewed at the end of the year. Viva goals stands out to because it activates them instead making it clear who is working on them and provides real-time tracking on how you're doing against these goals. We do not have Viva Goals at my company...yet!
- Jeff_KotzApr 21, 2023Brass ContributorI like your use of "activation." That's a part I really like. Even if you only review them quarterly, that's still just a review. Alternatively, if you can leverage Viva Goals as an operating system for your business, then those goals are not just passively compared against but rather they are regularly used to guide action. For some, using your written goals at many levels to provide direction feels new. I see this as 'using strategy to drive action' rather than just putting out the fires I'm faced with today helps create engaged employees because they feel like their actions have a real impact on the business.
