Using/ Installing ATP with local Active Directory
Hey guys,
I would like to use ATP from the Office 365 Business License but the company is using a local AD. Is there a way to use ATP with a local active directory?
Found this but I am not quite sure if this would solve the problem.
Some Online sources also suggested to include /sync the local AD with the Azure AD, but it is just one user who would use the ATP.
I Also found ATA and Windows Defender but as ATP is included i would prefere that. I am also not quite sure how all the Products stand in connection whith each other.
Did anybody did this before or has a clue what the best solution would be?

You should be able to download it to the computer following the steps in:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sccm/protect/deploy-use/windows-defender-advanced-threat-protection
Also if the company is using O365 then the local AD should already be syncing with Azure AD, unless they created an new domain and move/created all the objects.
