DSPM not just for AI

DSPM for AI is part of the new Data Security Posture Management experience, which is currently in preview. This new experience is intended to be the unified, forward-looking DSPM solution, covering both traditional data security posture scenarios and AI-related risks over time.

The traditional DSPM exists today as DSPM (classic) and DSPM for AI (classic) and are accessible only from the classic purview portal, which is why you don’t see a separate “DSPM” entry in the modern Purview or Microsoft Defender portals.
