Roadmap for extension/short digit dialing in SfB Cloud PBX/Cloud Connector Edition

What is the roadmap for extension/short digit dialing in SfB Cloud PBX/Cloud Connector Edition?

    Thanks for the reply and link Thomas. I understand the work around to apply to between SfB and Legacy PBX. Is that correct? In my scenario customer wants extension dialing between SfB users.

      Hi Dustin,

      you are correct, the workaround is for short dialing from Skype for Business to PBX users. Unfortunately we do not have a workaround today for short dialing other Skype for Business users -- however at the same time we believe that it is much comfortable for users to call users just by name. Is there any reason why that does not work for users?

        No technical reason calling by name doesnt work, just isn't what they're comfortable with.  Also, extension dialing is supported on premises.

    Hi Dustin,

    we are aware that this is a frequent requested feature and we are working to mke this available. However at this point of time we have no timelines to share.

     

    If you have not signed up yet for the Cloud Connector Edition and Cloud PBX Preview porgrams, please sgn up via our portal to be among the firsts to learn about it.
