Why will the Trello Add-in be discontinued and what to do now?

Thanks for the info but you may understand that paying 5.50 per MONTH for the currently free convenience of an extra Outlook button seems far from a good deal. I hope I don't have to change my mind here ;).

 

Did Microsoft ever disclose why they changed their position on this beautiful add-in?

Yes I understand that this may not be affordable for every user. With the 5.50 comes a lot more than only the Trello integration and you can even deploy your own add-ins or get in touch with us on adjusting them to your needs. But this may be more interesting when you are using Mailissa in a bigger company and use a lot of different integrations and tools.

I think its because they don't want to do any further support for it or work on bugs (which of course will appear if you integrate a 3rd party application).
