"Seeing" Fourier series/FFT using Microsoft Tech. - A huge opportunity for grad students!

Greetings all, hope you are well.

Here's a quick view of "seeing" Fourier series. Input to an LED through a signal generator is a Fourier series (FS). Simply put a FS is a weighted combination of sine & cosine functions that can mimic many shapes - a square wave in this case. The output from light sensor also closely aligns to input barring an signal losses.

We've used Excel data streamer to capture sensor out
& run a FFT. We further can easily save this data in CDS, port it to Power BI (for visualization & can do FFT here as well!) & use Power Apps as a design guide.
