"Seeing" differential equations/FFT using Microsoft Tech. - An outsized opportunity for gradstudents

Greetings everyone, hope you are well.

Here's a quick view of "seeing" solutions to differential equations - a second order ODE in this case. The physical phenomenon is a cantilever beam (ruler held at one end) under free vibration with internal friction providing damping.

We use Excel data streamer to stream data & further run a FFT in Excel (who knew! - data analysis menu) to get resonant frequency. We can further securely & easily save this data in CDS, port it to Power BI (for visualization & can do FFT here as well!) and use Power Apps as a design guide.
