Non classroom areas

Much the same issue, unless I have a Group with a couple of thousand people in it, which isn't all that practical. Azure AD Premium (and dynamic group membership) is too expensive for serious consideration in an EDU enviroment.
There's always SharePoint, but then we are running a Student intranet for some content and Classroom for others. Ideally I'd just have the Classroom portal.

Aug 15, 2016It would seem for the use cases you mentioned: "library and student services" that a SharePoint site makes more sense because you can assign the permissions as needed for who has access to the sites. What I've heard schools talk about is using different services based on the needs of what is communicated: School wide information on SharePoint, extra curricular resources on either SharePoint or Groups, and individual class homework assignments and collaboration in Classroom.
