What’s New in Microsoft Teams for EDU Feature Spotlight – Order of raised hands

Hey EDU Community,

We’re looking to discuss a new feature mentioned in the monthly What’s New in Microsoft Teams for EDU blog with the community and this time we’re looking at the order of raised hands feature.

Students have been able to virtually raise their hand in Teams to let people know they want to contribute or have a question without interrupting the conversation.

Now, with the order of raised hands feature, presenters know who to call on first to speak. Using the participants panel, you can now see which students have raised their hands and in what order they raised their hand.

This feature is available now.

Will this feature make it easier for you to call on students in a productive and fair way? Do you see any other use cases for this type of feature? Any fun ways you might use it as a game to see who is first to respond?
