Parent Communication

Can we create a team for schoolwide communication? I tried to do that. I added two students to the team (Using an "Other" type team), but I don't see that Team anywhere in the school connection app. It would be advantageous to use Teams for schoolwide communications. Emails are always going to junk and Teams would be such a great tool for that.
