issue joining meeting

I am a student and I am not able to join a meeting on Mac as the join button is not visible but I can join the same meeting from other devices such as my phone or a different laptop .If the meeting is scheduled on the calendar I am able to join from the calendar but most of my meetings are not scheduled.
