Teams calling does not have my city telephone numbers

I'm starting a new thread because I'm sure I'm not the only one, and google doesn't seem to churn much up in this arena.

We've run a pilot program here on teams calling and when we were trying to find numbers specific to our city we could only get numbers for a city 30 miles away. I know this isn't a big thing, but our campus is specific to a city it would be good if our caller ID reflected the city we were in.

Anyone else run into this and if so did you find a solution?

Look into https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/operator-connect-plan, or try contacting one of your local providers to see if they offer their own solution for providing voice connectivity in Teams through Direct Routing.

Oh the days when the three digit prefix represented an area. In Atlanta we are covered by at least 4 area codes and you essentially only get numbers in the latest.

Originally I had opened a case and they were not able to help. I will check out operator connect.
