Tenant-based Microsoft Defender for Cloud Connector

Alerts from Defender for Cloud shouldn't be visible in Sentinel, only incidents. You should be able to see those alerts in the Defender portal under "Alerts"
MDC can be made available via query in law. Defender does create incident only if XDR is enabled. If not connected it fails to sync Security Alerts to Sentinel based on my observation.
