Enabling new functionality - notification

How can we get notified when a connector gets some new functionality that is not enabled? For example, the Defender for Cloud, Defender for Database option got a new configuration option for getting alerts from Kubernetes clusters. How are we supposed to know that this has happened? 

It seem like it is pretty easy to miss this type of functionality that would be good to enable to improve monitoring. 

It would be good for there to be a notification about this type of change on the Sentinel overview/connectors page
