Search "Sites vertical" returns nothing

Is it normal that this search request returns nothing? I've tested in multipe tenants and same results...

    I’ve tested this in two different tenants (a personal dev tenant and my organization’s tenant), and both returned results when using the following URL: https://<tenant>/_layouts/15/search.aspx/sites?q=*
