Microsoft Modern Search shows old names of channels in teams

Hi there,

I have been working with Microsoft Search for a little bit and I noticed that if we modify a channel name in teams, Microsoft Search will not update that channel name in the breadcrumb for any items it finds, sent prior to the name change. 

Eg. I use the keyword "Password" in Microsoft Search and find an entry in a teams channel with the following breadcrumb: IT Team > IT Change Management.  

This is great, because IT Change Management is the current name of the Teams Channel.  However, if I search the term "Yammer" the entry I find has a breadcrumb that reverts back to an old channel name: IT Team > Microsoft 365 - Changes.

Why doesn't the breadcrumb of old entries into team's channel match the current channel name?  Is there a way to fix this?
