"Expand Search to all of SharePoint" Ability to Redirect to Modern
SharePoint search from the modern UI leverages modern search. Searching from a SharePoint site has a breadcrumb to change the scope from the selected site to all SharePoint sites. A search in the modern library context returns results scoped to that library. At the search results page bottom for library scoped search, there an option to Expand search to all of SharePoint.
- Is there a way or any Microsoft plans to have this link go to the modern search experience? It now goes to classic search.

- Indeed this is the plan: being redirected to the modern search results pages. This is something I already have in my test tenants
