Content Cards no longer display from a Delve Search
What you see is the new SharePoint search in action as shown at Ignite https://channel9.msdn.com/Events/Ignite/2016/BRK2045
This is the screen render from Delve launched from our tenant.my-sharepoint URL for Delve. It renders really badly until the browser window is resized, then you get the tabular layout as above.
VERY, VERY interesting.... it works perfectly from the delve.office.com URL.
haha, I just noticed that your screenshot looks different than mine and first assumed it's because of the smaller windows size. I've just tried Delve again and I just got the same results page as you ;) It behaved differently when I frist replied today :)
I've read on some other thread that changes are coming to the Delve search experience. Looks like Microsoft merged Delve and SharePoint Home Search, since there is almost the same content filter right next to the search bar as with SharePoint Home.
Ivan and others. Flip/Flop/Flip/Flop.... It now appears to have reverted back to the Card Display (as at mid to late March 2017).
Are you seeing this on your Tenants as well - ie the traditional Card Display
Replying to Chris ... Our tenant is back to the Traditional Delve Board when using the search field. AND we are back to the classic view. I don't know if there is a connection between these two.
Ivan54 do you get the same search return display from delve.office.com?
It works from there for me.
It is the absence of the Content Card features such as pinning which is concerning me.
Chris Laycock yes, I know also have the list (instead of card) search results and yes, there is no "add to board" option when searching.
delve.office.com (and the Delve Store App) still show the card style.
As said above, somewhere in this community I've read that changes to Search (no specific app was mentioned) are coming which include pre-emptive results and these can be seen in this new Delve Search the moment you click the search bar you're already getting suggested results.
What I still find weird though is that I get 2 different landing page results for Delve. delve.office.com display way more current files that have been added by peers, where as the Delve Tile Landing page just shows some current content, but mostly out of date files.
