No access to IIS server from LAN

I'm having a problem that I've searched for solutions to and can't find anything quite like this.  I have IIS set up with the Microsoft redirect module that forces traffic to 443 and a self signed cert.  On the IIS server itself I can enter https://localhost and get the IIS splash screen after proceeding past the security warning.  From another machine on the LAN I'm getting a 404 error when using https://servername or https://serverIP.  There is no firewall in use on the server.
