MCAS - Export Settings Question

I can see the Export Portal Settings section of System settings in MCAS and it's referenced in the following article at point 9 as being used for "If at any point you want to back up your portal settings"

I am curious about the use case for this JSON file as I cannot see a method to import the file in the event of needing to restore a previous configuration?

 

Is there an import feature to import this exported file either from the GUI or PowerShell?

    Thank you for the question. The export functionality is provided as a way to document the MCAS configuration in JSON format. Currently, there isn't a way to import the configuration into the GUI or via PowerShell.
