Mass download alert

Hi,

Can updating one drive on a mobile phone trigger Mass download alert on Defender cloud app?

I review that alert but could find the cause and there was nothing downloaded from that mobile phone.

any help would be appreciated.

    Can you please clarify what you mean by update onedrive on a mobile?
    If a mass download occurred, it will be triggered, whichever type of device you are using.
    The alert itself should also give you details for the activities that triggered it. Are you seeing which download activities are triggering it?

      I have checked the files those are from Microsoft OneDrive, but according to the end-user that was never downloaded but he updated OneDrive app. does that cause Mass Download alert? I am not sure and trying to find an answer.
