File Policy Extension - Case Sensitive

I have created a file policy in Cloud App Security which is checking file extensions and put these files in admin quarantine. I want to prevent upload of special filetypes to SharePoint Online.

I experienced, that the extension attribute is case sensitive, which can cause major problems. Like Docx is not docx or docX.

Can anyone confirm that this is the case?

Is there also a UserVoice page for MCAS, where we can raise the idea to change this behavior?
