Connect Salesforce to MDCA without using a license

Hello everyone !

I'm trying to integrate a Salesforce instance into MDCA and this requires a dedicated service account. This will cost my client a license (Salesforce) . Is there another way to connect Salesforce , without using a licence ? for example , Service Now only required an Oauth Token.
