Comparison between Defender for Cloud Apps AWS Connector VS Defender for Cloud AWS connector?
Hello,
Currently we can connect AWS account in Defender for Cloud apps (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/defender-cloud-apps/connect-aws) AND also connect AWS accounts in Defender for Cloud (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/defender-for-cloud/quickstart-onboard-aws)
It looks like the Defender for Cloud AWS connector is more recent and seems to receive new features regularly. Is there any point in connecting my AWS account with Defender for Cloud Apps if I also want to connect it to Defender for Cloud?
Thank you.

Microsoft
Charles1575 Defender for Cloud will provide visibility into the overall posture of AWS. This helps you understand what configs should be deployed to better protect your instance.
The connector in Defender for Cloud Apps provides visibility from the threat protection side, so events that happen in the organization account itself (audit events).
Connecting both will provide the best overall protection.
