Security Center Recommendations - CCE-4090-7 - Home Directory Permissions
I have been trying to figure out why this particular recommendation is flagging the /tmp directory on only one of many Linux Centos servers we are running. It's the only failing server. All the VM's have the same permissions (drwxrwxrwxt.) on the /tmp directory, and yet this is the one ASC has decided is incorrect.
Would someone have an idea as to why this is happening, and if it is legitimate, what we could do to fix it, as the permissions on /tmp need to be as they are to support all of the things /tmp is actually used for.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
David
