Microsoft Defender for Key Vault should be enabled
How would it affect the Key Vault of this is enabled? Do we have to be cautious about something before the change and what steps do we need to take that if enabled it would not break anything? Appreciate your response on this.

Thank you for your question.
In case of Defender for AKV we don't actually do anything with the vaults themselves, so its safe to enable the plan and start taking advantage of the detections provided.Microsoft Defender for Key Vault - the benefits and features | Microsoft Docs
