Defender for Cloud with new AMA

Question

My customer has new deployment and he want to avoid old agent (MMA) installations.
If Customer has VM in Azure (it can be Windows Server (2012/R2/2016/2019/2022), Linux ..) he has enabled Defender plan on Subscription where VMs. He also configure Security Log collection using AMA agent.
Is this sufficient to have full functional Defender for Endpoint and Defender for Cloud? Assume FIM (file Integrating monitoring), Update Management and auto provisioning is out of scope

Its depends what the customer requirement and scope they are look to use the MDE &amp; MDC.

I believe this question not relevant any more since Defender officially support AMA
