mbocak You should be able to use modern authentication and do away with the need to use app passwords completely: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/clients-and-mobile-in-exchange-online/enable-or-disable-modern-authentication-in-exchange-online
You can also run some Powershell commands to disable basic authentication protocols in Exchange Online: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/clients-and-mobile-in-exchange-online/disable-basic-authentication-in-exchange-online
