Azure Defender for Cloud Endpoint recommendations

Hi,

With all the integrations between Defender for Cloud and MDE  It is becoming a little unclear to me what the scope is of the endpoint protections recommendations in Defender for Cloud. 

We have W10 (non-WVD) running on Azure with MDE manually installed. Will the recommandation trigger if MDE is not helathy or missing?
