Application Inventory Detail Difference with Azure Arc

We noticed that the listing of apps in MDC Inventory page for a windows server is much smaller than the app inventory for the same server in Azure Arc. Is this expected behavior? is there anything that we can do to get more application information in MDC?

    Hello Dean_Gross

     

    Different servers may have a different list of apps installed. Your on-prem servers connected via Arc might have additional software deployed compared to whatever is available as part of an Azure VM gallery images. The Arc agent itself is an example. So, for us to provide more meaningful response it would be nice to see app lists from both machines.

      StanislavBelov here are 2 screen shots of the software inventory from the same computer, Arc shows many more apps than MDC
